Open Server Panel 6 is an updated version of the popular portable web development platform for Windows, offering expanded capabilities compared to previous versions. It's a comprehensive solution that includes all the necessary tools for creating and testing web projects on a local computer.

Today, OSPanel is widely used by web developers worldwide for developing, debugging, and testing web projects, as well as for providing web services over local networks. The project has gained particular popularity among beginning webmasters, as it allows them to quickly create a working environment and immediately begin learning web technologies without the complex installation and configuration of numerous unfamiliar software components.

HOSTS Editor: Added the ability to edit the system HOSTS file directly through the program settings interface.

Changes
Default Projects: Projects available immediately after installation are no longer tied to any PHP module. After installing OSPanel, you must manually select and activate the appropriate PHP module for these projects.

Launch with errors: In case of problems at launch, the program no longer terminates (in most cases), but starts in a limited mode with access to settings and logs.

Key Update: Running composer self-update now also updates Composer public keys.

Root Certificate Update: Running the osp cacert init command now also updates the global Root certificate.

Changed installer behavior: When selecting the "Custom installation" installation type, all components are now disabled by default.

Defective Projects: Archived projects with settings errors no longer display a red error icon in the program interface. The notification only appears after restoring the project from the archive. However, the error message continues to be logged.

Corrections
Autoload: Fixed an issue where the autoload checkbox state was not displayed correctly: the value was saved correctly, but was displayed incorrectly.

High Resolution Support: Adjusted font size and menu width to ensure proper interface functionality on high-resolution displays.

Time Zone: Changing the time zone settings for modules could cause them to fail to launch (bug introduced in version 6.2.6).

Icon display: Fixed the display of icons for some program windows in the taskbar.

Menu commands: Fixed the operation of commands in custom menu items located inside categories (an error occurred in version 6.2.6).

Project Archive: The Project Archive was not displayed in the menu if all existing projects were archived.

Notification Window: The OK button in the update notification window did not function.

Windows Shutdown: Fixed an issue where the program would prevent Windows from shutting down or restarting (a bug introduced in version 6.2.6).
